SANBI Experiential learning /work-integrated learning opportunities for ND Nature Conservation students Duration: 1 December 2013 – 30 November 2014 A one-year work integrated learning opportunity is available at our Kirstenbosch national botanical garden from 1 December 2013 – 30 November 2014. Students will gain hands on experience in nature conservation and have the opportunity to work with specialists in the field. The programme includes exposure in the following estate functions: guided tours, surveys, patrols, data collection, research, the management plan for the estate as well as the Kirstenbosch Biodiversity database. Students who are self-motivated and enthusiastic and have completed their first and second year subjects are encouraged to apply. Good grades will be a strong advantage.
