SANCTUS! SANCTUS! SANCTUS! Maramisa turns 5 today! 12.05.09. Five years ago today, the deacons ordained by Bishop Pol Jaucian, DD in San Isidro, Abra were ordained,six months after, to the Presbyterate by the then Bishop and now Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle. We thank the Society of the Divine Word, our Father Generals, Fr. Pernia and now Fr. Heinz and council, our respective Provincial Superiors and council, our superiors, formators, professors, and all of our confreres, our SSPS and SSPSAP sisters, our first formators - parents, loved ones, friends, class and batchmates, fellow ministers and all of you, our co-missionaries way back in the seminary and formation centers, in our past and present mission assignments, who are praying for us and working with us in the vineyard of the Lord. We thank also the communion of the Angels and Saints whom we invoked and continue to call upon since the day we prostrated ourselves before the Altar of the Most High; the Holy Souls who continue to intercede for us and whom we remember in every Mass - in this wonderful link of the Baptized that even Death cannot separate, we pray and whisper thank you. And to our Blessed Mother, the Mother of the Divine Word and our Father Joseph, protector of the Family and the Universal Church. May the Holy Triune God live in our hearts and in the hearts of all! We may be many (marami) yet we are one (Isa). Isang Maramisang Pasasalamat.
