SATAN’S LUST FOR THE WORLD’S CHILDREN Satan is not a stupid fallen angel. He knows in order to capture God’s children and claim them for his own, he must start when their little minds are open for any knowledge, whether it is the knowledge he gives them, or the knowledge of God. If your child did not come in contact with God when he was growing up, he will have nothing but evil in his mind, and will be very difficult to win over to Christ. His mind is so filled with evil and his soul has learned nothing of God because his parents have kept him away from God. When I was a child, my mother took me to church each Sunday, and had me say my prayers each night. At each meal my brothers and sisters took turn giving thanks. Our souls knew a lot about God when we were children. Here is the little prayer of thanks we did: GOD IS GREAT, GOD IS GOOD, LET US THANK HIM FOR OUR FOOD. AMEN. This is an example of how the soul keeps the things we learn while growing up. MATTHEW 26:41: Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. The spirit, sometimes called the soul, is within our fleshly body, and was created in the image of God as it is written in the first chapter of GENESIS. There are two recorders in our bodies that records what has taken place in our lives, and is taking place now. MATTHEW 10:28: And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. The brain of the body stores all the bad parts of our lives, such as the sin and evil that took place in our lives. The soul, or spirit, is the other recorder. It stores all of the good and Godly things that have taken place in our lives, and is still taking place. When we die our fleshly body will go back to the earth, destroying all the sinful and evil things that we did. Of course, God will still know what we did our whole life. A saved person’s soul will go to heaven when Jesus comes for us. Make sure your children are trained well in things of God. Our Father, we pray that all the readers have chosen to raise their children in the way of God, starting at birth and throughout the rest of their lives. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen. Wally H.
