SATURDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER YOU NEED GOD’S HELP “The meek will He guide in judgement: and the meek will He teach His way”. Psalm 25: 9 Sheep by nature, tends to wander off the path. Isaiah 53: 6a, says “We all like sheep have gone astray”. We have left God’s path to our own path. Another thing about sheep is that they have poor vision. They can’t see very far ahead. That is why they need a shepherd. God made you so that you would not be able to see into the future no matter how much you try. You know why? He did it so you would always depend on Him. Most times we don’t want to follow God or anybody else. We want to go our way. We refuse to depend solely on God for direction and when we follow our hearts we always miss the way. Proverbs 14: 12 says “there is a way that appears to be right unto a man, but in the end it leads to death”. We have all at one time or the other, made decisions that seemed right at first, but it later turned out to be wrong. Some paths in life lead to dead ends and we end up off track. That is why we have to admit “God, I need your help”. WORD OF PRAYER:- Dear lord, I admit that without You I can do nothing, lead me that I may follow Your path of righteousness in Jesus’ name, Amen.
