SATURDAY 25/10/2014 TOPIC: MANIFESTING AUTHORITY SCRIPTURE: And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. Gen. 1:24 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When the people of God exist below their status in God, it is an abomination. God lives naturally in the realm of supremacy. God made man, therefore, man has no choice but to manifest authority and dominion. This authority is needed for the reproduction of God’s character and nature in His people. This is the law of creation according to Genesis 1:11-12 which says that everything reproduces after its kind. So God gave birth to us in His image and we must be in His likeness. When the people of God exist below their status in God, it is an abomination. If a couple of the same race gives birth to a child that looks like that of a different race, something must have gone wrong. In the same way, for God Almighty to give birth to children that don’t look at all like Him is an abomination. The purpose of authority is for man to reproduce the character and nature of His Maker. We also need to manifest authority and dominion so as to manifest the image of God to the world. The world needs to be brought to know God; they cannot see God but when they see you, they ought to see God in you. Manifesting the authority and dominion of God is for empowerment unto evangelism. When you are struggling, people may not listen to you but when you are successful, people will listen. Make up your mind today to manifest God’s authority. Remember this: When the people of God exist below their status in God, it is an abomination. ASSIGNMENT (S): Daily ask God to help you be a true representation of His image. Start by manifesting His authority.
