SATURDAY 6/28/14 from 10AM to 2 PM Speeches begin at Noon 2014 marks the 50 years that Durham Highway FD has provided emergency services to the citizens of our fire district (you) To celebrate we are throwing a party this Saturday from 10-2. We cant have a party with out YOU!! We have a lot planned for the day including free hotdogs, soda, and cake. At noon we have U.S. Congressmen David Price, the head of the NC Dept of Insurance Wayne Goodwin, Wake Co Sheriff Donnie Harrison, and NC Fire legend TRAMP DUNN. and other dignitaries saying a few words helping celebrate the occasion. For the kids we have bounce houses, A DJ, the Wake and District Pipe and Drums and the biggest surprise is that Disney is sending the movie trailer for the new Disney movie Planes, Fire Rescue that we will be showing in the truck bays, they will also have free giveaways, movie tickets and other fun things. Of course the trucks will be cleaned up for the kids to climb on, and we may even see Wool E Bull. We hope to see you there Saturday 10-2
