SATURDAY MORNING WEATHER UPDATE The weekend is starting out with clear skies and temperatures in the 40s. An upper level system will pass through the Central Plains early this morning. This will send another cool surge of air our way. Mid-morning temperatures will climb to near 50. Winds will be from the southwest and help put us on a nice warming trend for the day. Lunch hour temperatures will be in the low 60s. The afternoon will have plenty of sunshine. A weak surge of cool air will drop into the Hill Country by late afternoon. Peak afternoon temperatures will be near 70. Cool air will begin to flow into the area Saturday evening as winds come around to the north. Long term – Sunday will be another nice day. The cool surge of air will not impact temperatures much. The next surge of cool air will come Tuesday with a much stronger surge arriving on Thursday with a chance of rain. Have a great weekend!
