SATURDAY NIGHT/SUNDAY MORNING WEATHER UPDATE: Not too much has - TopicsExpress

SATURDAY NIGHT/SUNDAY MORNING WEATHER UPDATE: Not too much has changed from previous forecasts as we watch for the potential of LIGHT ice overnight into early Sunday morning. Temps will be hovering right around freezing throughout the night, and at times some spots could drop just below freezing to 30-31º. Areas of drizzle or light rain will lift NE out of Texas into SE OK and NE TX, and any spots where temps drop below freezing could see a light glaze of ice accumulate on elevated surfaces, trees, cars, and also possibly on bridges/overpasses. After 8-9 AM Sunday, temps will rise above freezing areawide and any remaining precip will just fall as cold rain. At this time, it doesnt look like many main roads will be affected with temps still very close to freezing, but some bridges/overpasses could briefly develop slick spots overnight through early Sunday AM, so just be careful on the Sunday AM commute! If that outlook changes, we will be sure to let you know!
