SATURDAY: Will hear confessions at St. Ambrose in Erie at 3:30 and celebrate Mass there at 4pm. Then Confessions at St. Catherine Church in Prophetstown at 5:30pm and Mass at 6pm. Found one of my pictures of St. Ambrose and you will find it attached to this. Also found a wonderful picture of my brother Ron in August of 2013 during the 45th Wedding Anniversary party which his kids sponsored. He was having the time of his life. TODAY HE AND ELLEN NEED OUR PRAYERS TO CONTINUE THEIR FAITHFUL JOURNEY DAY BY DAY! THEY APPRECIATE ALL THE PRAYERS YOU OFFER ON THEIR BEHALF!! THANKS FOR YOUR REMEMBERANCE EACH DAY! Will celebrate the 8:30am Mass in Erie on Sunday and the 10:30am Mass in Prophetstown on Sunday. 10AM MASS AT ST. MICHAELS CEMETERY AT SANDY HILL IN MAYTOWN ON MONDAY, LABOR DAY - RAIN OR SHINE! Fr. RANDY FRONEK WILL CONCELEBRATE WITH ME. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend and get some rest too....that was the intention of this holiday - to give workers a day off! Many still work heavy shifts every day and every week in very hard and demanding jobs. We sometimes think that everybody is now curled up on a couch doing their work on a laptop and sipping a diet drink! Miners, steel mill workers, teachers, brick layers, - the list is endless are not working at home - but in tough environments. And then there are the electrical company workers who put up the wires after the storms....at HIGH risk to themselves.....and so it goes. God bless us all - we, the workers!
