SATX Facebook friends: question for a study Im doing for school - does anyone know of companies in the area that use Telepresence Robots? (See link if youre not familiar - more or less an A/V teleconference setup - screen, webcam, microphone, speakers - mounted to a mobile robot that the remote person can control and drive around, turn the head to change filed of view, etc). I know they are used locally at USAA. Has anyone seen them at Rackspace Hosting? Or maybe Accenture? Anywhere else? I need to survey or conduct short email-interviews with some folks who use them in business settings (still working on writing the survey instruments/interview questions). In the meantime looking for leads as to where I might find subjects. For that matter, the companies dont have to be in the SATX area - just figured I had a better chance of getting people to respond to my survey if I had some kind of connection with them.
