We are currently seeking a Senior Piping and Structural Fabricator for the Refinery & NGL Fractionation Administration Area. This position will be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Minimum Requirements : As the successful candidate, you will have 9 years work experience as a Pipefitter/Fabrication’s Technician, and the completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training in the Pipefitting/Fabrication’s field. Duties & Responsibilities : The primary focus of this position is to work with engineering, maintenance and operation personnel who are responsible for safe operation of the hydrocarbon plants located in the refinery. A solid field experience as Piping and Structural Fabricator in different hydrocarbon processing units. Specific duties and responsibilities will include the following: Reads fabrication drawings, (isometric and orthographic projections), and develops materials lists and fabrication templates for the projects. Plans work assignments to determine materials, equipment, and tools requirements, and to assist foreman in project scheduling. Performs fabrication tasks as a highly skilled craftsman, and serves as the on-the-job training mentor for the pipefitter/fabricators assigned to his work crew. Cuts, threads, bends, joins, and assembles pipe for fitting and fabrication (ferrous/nonferrous/nonmetallic). Performs hydrostatic testing of pipe spools. Cuts, bends, joins, and fabricates pipework and tubing for plumbing (carbon steel, copper, stainless steel, and nonmetallic). Cuts, prepares, bends and drills plate for fabrication (ferrous and nonferrous metals) Cuts, prepares, drills and joins steelwork for structural fabrication. Erects or dismantles tubular or frame scaffolding and assists in rigging operations Performs sheet metal fabrication tasks, including template development, cutting, bending and joining of sheet metal. Directs and controls a team of 2-4 craftsmen in various routine and complex fabrication projects.
