:: SAW OPERATOR POSITION OPEN! STARTS THIS MONDAY! :: Preferred has a saw operator position starting this Monday. This is for a wooden pallet company located on the west side. This is a temp to hire position after 90 days. (Possible early hire in if candidate exceeds expectations) The job consists of taking boards coming off of a saw and stacking them into different piles based on size. You will work in a pair of two and split the total number of pieces cut throughout the day. The job is piece rate meaning there is no hourly pay, you get paid based upon how many pieces you make. With time and experience, you can earn over $12/hr via piece rate. With good effort, saw positions can be some of the best piece rate jobs available. The candidate would work Monday - Friday Starting at 6:50am each day. Somedays require overtime. This is a great opportunity for those ladies that are hard, fast paced workers. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs, work well with others, and have a positive attitude.
