SAY San Diego is looking for a DIRECTOR OF RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT- This person would be responsible for implementing an integrated and strategic resource development plan focused on relationship building and increasing foundation, corporate, public and individual giving in keeping with SAY’s mission and goals. They will also be charged with maintaining and enhancing SAY’s visibility, including presenting SAY’s mission, client experience and community benefit as part of a cohesive communications plan. The Director would report to the CEO and serves on the senior management team. In sum, is responsible to achieve overall revenue goals, diversify funding streams, position our agency as a trusted and visible human services leader and ensure the long-term viability of SAY San Diego. The position requires a level of proficiency in computer software and technology as needed to get the job done effectively and efficiently as well as college degree and 6-8 years of professional experience in fund raising, member relations, civic engagement, communications and/or related fields, preferably with a public affairs or nonprofit group.
