It was Pink Out night at the HMC in honor of Breast Cancer Survivors and to bring more awareness to the dreaded disease! The Mavs wore Special Black Uniforms trimmed in pink for the game. Many of the Players wore Pink Shoes & Wrist/Head Bands as well. Tony Hooper, Ed Horton, PJ Couisnard, and Josh Pace led the way for the Mavericks as Shreveport-Bossier won their 9th game on the season. LEADING SCORERS: Mavericks - Tony Hooper 18, Ed Horton/PJ Couisnard 16, Josh Pace 14, Jermaine Blackburn 10 Giants - Trey Guidry 31, Jarrell Houston 16, Jermaine Bell 14, GAME SUPERLATIVE: PJ Couisnard playing more minutes than he has all season in any game scored 16 points, pulled down 4 rebounds, and had 4 steals. Couisnard keyed big runs to begin the game and end the game for the Mavericks. Couisnard is still coming back from a knee injury he suffered last season. He is now showing signs of returning to the form that has made him a premiere player in the ABA. RECORD: The Mavericks are 9-0 on the season, and have now Won 69 consecutive games. GAME NOTE: The Mavs have now won 74 straight games at Home. SCHEDULE: The Mavericks will host the Texas Rimrockers this upcoming Thursday night at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum. Tip-off will be at 7 PM. The Mavs will host the Montgomery Blackhawks in back to back games next Saturday (7 PM) & Sunday (4 PM) before breaking for the Christmas Holidays.
