At what point did the officer give the driver a chance to comply with his orders?... Trick question. Once The driver complied with the instructions given by the officer and reached into his car for his license and registration, it was a lose-lose situation for the driver moving forward no matter what move he made. The officer had already made up his mind that the driver was not complying with his instructions and instead reaching for a weapon.
