SCAM ALERT: Im at home sick today and received a call from 580-319-5186. The guy said he was with the Oklahoma State Troopers Association and said it was their annual fundraising drive. I told him that I wasnt interested and he said, This call is being recorded, so you need to LISTEN UP!! You need to make a donation today and how much can you give!? I slammed the phone down. I reported that number to the Federal Trade Commission. Next, I found the cell number of a State Trooper that serves on the Executive Board for that association, called him and told the story. The trooper said that was not a call of theirs (I knew that by the way that dude talked to me). That guy was implying by the call being recorded that if I didnt donate, then the troopers would pull me over next time they saw me. He said the Association had my address and tag numbers!! Please tell everyone you know this story and phone number!! He was so intimidating that he could very easily scam the elderly or anyone, really. This is a true story! Im off to email the Oklahoma Attorney Generals office. my throat hurts so bad and Im having to waste time on this jerk.
