The caller will know your name and the last 4 digits of your social security number and claim you owe the IRS money. You will then be asked to put that payment on a prepaid card and give the scammer the number on the card. Do not do it! The IRS will never ask to you make a payment on a pre-paid card. If you have gotten one of these calls, please contact the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml.
