SCAM ALERT!: The bad guys have a new smart phone scam in which you need to be familiar. They send out a text alert to your phone telling you that youre eligible for an upgrade. It gives you a link that looks like your cell phone carriers page. Once you enter your username and password and hit submit, then theyve got you! You get a text back explaining they cant process this transaction and the crooks add their names to your account as an authorized user. The bad guys then do a whole bunch of nefarious stuff using your personal information and ruin your credit. So be aware and dont fall for this one.
