SCARED STRAIGHT FROM THE STREETS is a mentoring diversion program to help our youth make better choices, this program will be held every month in various locations within the city...... On December 27th 2014 at the Stark County District Library at 715 Market Ave Nw Canton, Ohio, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Dinner will be provided please register at stepbystepkidz. The program will be divided into four segments. 1. A MOTHERS CRY..a testimony from a Mother that has lost a child through street violences.... WORDS BY SHARON BALLARD AND NADA JOHNSON.... .2. VOICES FROM WITHIN... a video visitation with an inmate, (allowing those in attendance to hear first hand the effects on making bad choices as will as the consequences) A VIDEO VISIT WITH MARLON DAVE .... 3. WORDS OFF THE STREET....testimonies from ex inmates, gang members, etc.....4. CLIPS FROM THE ORIGINAL SCARED STRAIGHT.... will be able to hear and see things that do happen within the walls of the prison....THIS PROGRAM IS FREE OF CHARGE... PLEASE REGISTER AT stepbystepkidz...
