SCENES FROM A MALL Upon entering a mall, I bumped into a friend who proudly showed her purchase. It was an accessory for the home. It sells for six fifty but you can get it for five hundred. I thought it was delightful and asked where she purchased the item which I would also want for my garden. About half an hour later I found the store and the saleslady recognized me. Ay, Direk ... how are you? I told her I was looking for an item without informing that a friend purchased one and recommended her establishment to me. In the meantime, the lady kept going:I always watch you on TV... to which I replied THANK YOU. I finally saw the item I was looking for and asked, How much is this? She smiled at me and replied, Two-five yan but since it is you, I will just sell it to you for one thousand five hundred each. I was shocked but somewhat amused. I wanted to tell her, G-F-Y!
