SCHOLARSHIP EXAM: HOTEL MGMT IN UK Source: Education Times 18/11/2013 Catherine Vines from Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College, a government college with 25,000 students, will be conducting a scholarship exam and interviews for admissions to the college’s hotel management/ MBA/ nursing programme for the January, June and September 2014 intakes. UK’s hotel and tourism industry is facing an acute shortage of skilled manpower. Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College has four campuses in London. The courses offered are of learn-and-earn type. The most important aspect is that tuition fees are low and salaried work placement is part of the course. All hotel management graduates/ diploma holders/ final year students are eligible to apply. Diploma holders are eligible for direct entry. The institutes MBA programme is validated by University of Wales. UK student visa process is simple. The exam and interviews will be held in Mumbai on Saturday, November 23 from 10.30 am to 6.00 pm.
