SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY!! This scholarship is for students who are CURRENTLY IN THE 11TH GRADE!! ATTENTION STUDENTS: 2015 future high school graduates! There will be many, many opportunities to pay for college by way of scholarships, loans and grants. This scholarship, the Jordan Greer Kindness Day Scholarship, is for high school SENIORS (2014-2015) How to apply: 1. Have a teacher, coach, principal, or some other authority/educator to send an email attesting to the KINDNESS of your character via email to jordangreerfoundation@yahoo! 2. Simple, one email could earn you a cash award of $1200 to help with expenses such as senior portraits, class ring, prom, senior trips, letterman jacket or whatever. You may choose to use this reward towards your college education! Its your choice. 3. The deadline for emails is April 18, 2014 at 9:30pm CST. No exceptions! 4. Three finalist will be chosen based strictly on the emails. Emails can be two lines or two paragraphs or two pages or however long it takes. If the educator is aware of a specific act of KINDNESS that you have performed, obviously that email will bare more weight than one that is void of examples of your KIND heart. 5. Finalists will be asked to participate in the 2014 Random Act of Kindness Day to be held in October 2014. Specific date/time TBA. The $1200 cash scholarship will be awarded at that time. 6. Any finalists who is not able to participate in the Kindness Celebration will be replaced by a RANDOM person at the event. This random person will have an equal opportunity to receive the $1200 cash reward. NO EXCEPTIONS! IF A FINALIST CAN NOT SHOW UP, THEY WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED, PERIOD. 7.
