SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS DISTRICT 88 NEW ULM I am going to ask for your vote from New Ulm and surrounding towns and area voters that make up District 88. I have been on the District 88 board for 8 years and have appreciated being able to be a decision maker, even though we had to cut over 8 million dollars from our budget over the first 6 years. The communities, teachers, administration, staff, and students have been so supportive and really hands on in dealing with all our issues and struggles. We have said good bye to a great long time superintendent and our board hired a new superintendent that is excellent and leading us well. Our community has backed us with fundraisers and voting on budget referendums and with the biggest vote of all a New High School and remodeling of our other schools and re-arranging of classes into different schools. I am so proud to be a member of this community, I know these things come with a cost and a lot of sacrifice. I want to continue to see these projects through and am asking for your support. We have great candidates running, but I would like to see the current board re-elected and allowed to finish the big jobs we are in the middle of. Again, thank you for your support of all District 88 staff and of our school board which is elected to represent you and work for the education of our children so they are successful in the future.
