SCHOOLS LIGHTHOUSE PROJECT TO BE UNVEILED TONIGHT AT HINKLER CENTRAL Students at four schools have been working hard to create a symbolic lighthouse in connection with the Lighthouse Festival coming up next week. Burnett Heads, Bargara, and Kalkie State Schools, and St Mary’s Catholic Primary School have been involved in creating the lighthouse masterpiece by decorating a section of the lighthouse in a theme that depicts something great about the Bundaberg region. The finished lighthouse will be unveiled this evening at 5.45pm at a special event at Hinkler Central Shopping Centre followed by a preview of some of the Lighthouse Festival entertainment. The special lighthouse will be at Hinkler Central for a week and will then be on display at the Lighthouse Festival on Saturday 25th October.
