SCIENCE AND ART The poet is a wanderer and scribe. He sees the world and documents All that he finds, but that’s not all he does. He does not correlate or classify. There is no theory he can test. Not a work of science. A work of art. An abstract painting to help you Find new meaning in the subjective world . The world will be garbed in bright new clothing. No lifeless null hypothesis. The scientist want to verify truth, But cannot tell us what is true. All he succeeds is in showing what’s false And then relies of probabilities. We do not care about the truth. Imagination is our only skill. We give you wings so you can fly away. And songs, which give you harmony. We are twins seeing the world differently. We are joined in a partnership. Science take interest in how things work. We want to know the nature of all things. For science things are means to ends. For the poet the end is everything. Not that there isn’t more to find. The colour and the shades with which we work Transform both audience and performance. Creators, altering the world.
