SCIENCE SATURDAY FOLLOW-UP: What may look like a stranded man o war on the beach is actually a sun-baked, foil BALLOON! Its little wonder, then, that #SeaTurtles sometimes confuse balloons floating in the ocean for jellyfish--an often fatal mistake! A hardy group of volunteers recently joined our science staff for a beach cleanup to help make Cape Sable a bit more hospitable for our nesting turtles.
