SCOPE OF WORK (For maintenance) 1. Fire Alarm System 2. Fire Extinguishers Fire Hose Reel System 3. Fire Pumps 4. Sprinkler System ... 1) Fire Alarm System: · Conditions of control panel i.e.no physical damage, indicators, intact, etc. · Check-up batteries and charger operation with or without main supply. · Check up control panel response to alarm condition audibly i.e. all bells active on receiving of fire alarm. · Cleaning of associated devices necessary. · Testing of alarm receive device for visible and audible indication in compliance with required standard. 2) Fire Extinguishers: · Extinguishing medium and applied pressure.· Mechanical functions of all components.· Extinguishers are located in designated place.· A sticker will be fitted at all extinguishers and hydrants indicating the inspection date and provision.· The extinguisher location will be marked and fitted to all extinguishers. 3)House Reel Syste Clean and check hose reel cabinets. Lubricate the hinges. Inspect the swing mechanism of each hose reel unit of lubricate where necessary. · Run out hose, check for lubricate where necessary. Run out hose, check for damage or deterioration. Check nozzle mechanism. · Condition of equipment, i.e. no physical damage or corrosion leakage. · Discharge water for pressure rating. · Response of pumps, i.e. when operated pump should start automatically. · Inspection of valves, nozzles. 4) Fire Pumps: · Visual inspection of pump room pipe work, joint and fitting for leakage. Check corrosion and paint work.· Exercise electric pump, check start sequence. · Exercise Diesel pump, check start sequence and temperature (where fitted),engine speed (where fitted)shut down mechanism. Check batteries and charger. Check fuel level. · Annual charge oil filters, controller’s fuses, check pump alignment and coupling condition. · Check pump motor set, mounting, bearing and leakage. · Check pressure switch operation,setting,flow switches, pump run timers, system standing pressure and fall back · Check and exercise all valves. 5) Sprinkler System: · Inspect alarm device to verify that they are feel free of physical damage.· Inspect fire department connections to verify that: they are visible and accessible, Coupling or swivels are not damage and rotate smoothly, Plugs or caps are in place and in good condition, check valve is not leaking.· Test the water flow alarm on wet pipe sprinkler system by opening the inspector’ test connection. This simulates the opening of a sprinkler head.· Test the water flow alarm on dry pipe sprinkler system by using the bypass connection etc Enkaz Fire System P.O.
