SCORE: I have been invited back by the North Carolina Wildlife - TopicsExpress

SCORE: I have been invited back by the North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission to conduct tenkara presentations once again at the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education (PCWE) outside of Brevard, NC. We are looking at expanding the number of dates, expanding the content presented and developing a more robust hands-on streamside classroom. We are also discussing some special events to be showcased like involvement with the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) series, several kebari tying classes and some private special stockings in PCWE waters for tenkara anglers. Appalachian Tenkara has a lot of work to do to prepare for and execute this new expanded programming. Who would like to help in some way? There will be times where having more than just myself to help wrangle rods, demonstrate and coach casting or throw down on the vise as we teach some kebari goodies will be a greatly appreciated. For right now, Id just like to know who would be interested. No firm commitment needed. I realize that scheduling will be a part of it and that will fall into place over the next few weeks. If you think you are close enough to Brevard, or have interest in being involved... Let me know. Id like to think that we have built a strong community here in this facebook group that can come together to take tenkara deeper into the promotion stages of expansion. Face to Face sharing of what we have found passion in- tenkara fly fishing. I have begun to think about the PCWE series next year as being like mini Appalachian Tenkara Jam classroom segments spread across the calendar for 2015. WHO WANTS IN?
