SCORE UPDATE.......Damn good weekend ! ....The A Grade have made the GF and as we are playing the minor premier we have guaranteed promotion to the Premier grade ....woohoooooo!. The A grade chased down Woodville Souths 167 finishing at 5/168. It was tense early as we were 3/59 but Stuart Stratfold 49(pictured anxiously waiting for the winning run!) and Dylan Hiscock 43 seeing us home. The batting finally rewarding the bowlers after Grant Carey was magnificent with 4/36 off 23 overs while Travis Wordsworth 3 wickets off lots of overs and a great opening spell by Dylan Hiscock. Well done and as the coach says we are really looking forward to playing Disneyland next week (SPOC) !!. The LOF also made the GF at home next saturday vs Panorama. Captain Andrew OConnor 49 and Davies 45no getting us home chasing Trinitys 119 . Ansell grabbing 5/23. The only sour note today was the U15s losing their GF to Modbury ......Modbury started the day 2/26 in chase our our paltry 67....We gave them a massive scare with Henry Bear Eberhard grabbing 2 early ones and after 5 overs we had them 5/29.....unfortunately thats were it ended as Modbury went on to score 270 !!! . A great effort by all the boys and after finishing 3rd nearly pulled off a big upset today.Good luck next week to Harvey Box and Richard DeCrea who are playing in the district grand finals. Make sure we all make a big effort at training this week and a reminder Junior preso is this Friday.
