The formula for success is not an equation touted by a motivational guru which is given lip service and lauded by a gazillion other people. It could have worked, it would have worked, it should have worked. But nothing and no one outside of you can promise that. Or deliver that. You have tried, and you have failed, but the reason is not the equation, it is that it was not your equation. One size does not fit all. This year you will set your sights, take aim, and fire again. Bull’s-eye! You have the last word, you are writing the book on how it’s done. You. You. YOU. Success comes from knowing who you are, first and foremost, and knowing what you are capable of. Knowing what you like to do goes hand in hand with what comes easily to you, what you are gifted for. That is your priceless contribution; it is the basis of your strength and value. If it’s hard to do, drop it. It’s not true to you. Life is not a struggle … unless you believe that it is. It really is as simple as going with your gut and following your heart. Think back on those times when you didn’t, and compare them to those times when you did. That proves it to you. Results matter. Success is measured in how good you feel about yourself and your life. Period. Use your magnificent mind to evaluate your strengths and abilities, and then choose the ones you wish to focus on. Next, organize the steps you need to take and the time frame you wish to take them in and create a plan. Then just do it. Do it your way and be amazed.
