SCOTUS SUX Now, sadly, the Supreme Court has enforced the idea that this sort of petty theft is no big deal. The court ruled in favor of a subcontracting labor firm that supplied workers for an Amazon customer fulfillment center, and against the employees who accused the firm of wage theft because they were forced to spend 30 minutes each day, unpaid, exiting the warehouse through a screening center to be sure they were not stealing products. The lost potential wages means approximately $6 per employee per day, eventually adding up to $1500 per year.
