SCREENING AND CRITERIA FOR WINNING ENTRIES: 1. Agency to shortlist 3 entries per category per venue 2. Representatives from Interbev Philippines Inc. to select 2 entries per category per venue 3. Cobra Hall of Heroes to showcase 12 chosen entries by Interbev Philippines Inc. per venue for public viewing and voting. Each ballot will require one vote in each category; Youth, Workforce, Service Hero and Modern Hero. 4. Netizens can also vote through Cobra Pinoy Hero Awards Facebook Application. 5. Winners will be determined by the following: ·Combination of online and Hall of Heroes Votes – 50% ·Interbev Representatives and the 3 2012 Grand Winners Votes based on criteria below – 50% o Inspirational Quality – 50% o Uniqueness – 20% o Relevance to university/working class life – 30% 6. Verification procedures will be enforced to ensure validity and authenticity of the entries/stories. 7. Four Grand Prize Winners will be chosen nationwide; 1 Youth Awardee, 1 Workforce Hero, 1 Modern Day Hero, and 1 Service Hero. 8. Special Awards like Hero Entrepreneur, Physically Challenged Hero, Hero for Charity Work, Government Service Hero, Private Sector/White Collar Hero, Student Hero, Media/Press Hero, Sports Hero, Industry Hero and OFW Hero of the Year will also be chosen within the Top Ten of each category. 9. Winners will be announced during the Awarding Event on August 28. PRIZES: 1. Prizes: a) GRAND WINNERS (One hundred fifty thousand pesos each) b) SPECIAL AWARDS (Fifty thousand pesos each) c) GRAND WINNERS (One hundred fifty thousand pesos each) d) SPECIAL AWARDS (Fifty thousand pesos each) 2. Prizes are non-transferable. 3. By participating, the winners agree to the inclusion of their names and likeness for publicity purposes without this conferring any remuneration, right or benefit of any kind other than the award of their prize. 4. For the grand prize winners, expenses for claiming will be shouldered by Interbev Philippines Inc. 5. Prizes will only be awarded to the person whose name appears on the winning entry/story. 6. In claiming the prize, the winner must present the official notification from Interbev Philippines Inc. and two (2) original and valid identification documents w/ ID picture (Voter’s ID, TIN, SSS or GSIS ID, Driver’s License or Passport). The IDs presented (singly or collectively) should show the following information below. If the IDs submitted do not contain these three (3) information requirements, it will not be accepted as valid proof of identification: a) Full name b) Date of birth or age c) Signature 7. Prizes may be claimed at the following: a) For Hall of Heroes Provincial winners: MBC Stations direction to be provided b) For Hall of Heroes Metro Manila winners: Carat Philippines- 1003 Liberty Center Bldg. 104 H.V Dela Costa cor. L.P. Leviste St. Salcedo Village, Makati City. c) For Special Awards and Grand Prize Winners: Office of Asia Brewery Inc., 6th Floor, Allied Bank Center, 6754 Ayala Avenue, Makati City or as directed. 8. In cases wherein the winner cannot personally claim his/her prize for any reason, he or she can send a proxy on his/her behalf. The proxy should be able to present the following: a) A letter of authorization duly signed by the winner, nominating the proxy as the acknowledged recipient of the prize on the winner’s behalf. b) Two (2) valid IDs of the winner (singly or collectively) showing the required information in item ten (10). c) Two (2) original valid IDs of the proxy. d) Original copy of the notification from Interbev Philippines Inc. *Failure to comply with these requirements will result in the forfeiture of the winner. 9. Winners agree that Interbev Philippines Inc. will not be held liable for any incident that occurs during the acceptance or use of the prize won. 10. Submitted entries/stories will become the property of Interbev Philippines Inc., including the right to edit, publish (in any medium), and use the information therein without consideration or payment to the participant. 11. Interbev Philippines Inc. shall have the right to produce, or authorize the production of, and/or carry out the telecasting, broadcasting, video streaming, and/or other forms of exhibition whether over the Internet, through electronic media, or on site, from time to time, of any selection or winning entry or portion thereof as it may in its discretion determine. Interbev Philippines Inc shall also have the right to appoint or designate editors or directors who may edit the work or any portion thereof to suit the demands of production of exhibition. 12. All decisions of Interbev Philippines Inc. and its agents are final and no objections will be entertained. 13. Employees of Interbev Philippines Inc., its affiliates, distributors, suppliers, advertising and media agencies, and DOH-FDA as well as their relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to participate in this promotion. 14. These terms and conditions are subject to any relevant law, government direction and regulation. The promo will be void where prohibited and restricted by law.
