SCREW buying seeds every year heirloom seeds are the best seeds to buy why because they KEEP producing seed every year lets say something happens to all the farmers lands that produce our food we buy ,,you can plant your own and again again and again ,seeds can last thousands of years and they can still be used to grow food ,,,,heres my prof im kind of a history nut they found seeds and grain in a 3,000 year old tomb of an egyptian king Tutankhamun they planted these seeds in 1930 just 7 years after the young kings tomb was found and ,,,,,,,,the grains and corn and lots of other vegetables are still growing today 3,000 years later ,so if they last that long and there still good even if you never plant them what would it hurt to store them for hard times
