SCSO Makes Arrest in Aggravated Assault, Kidnapping Case On 01/21/2015 Sheriff’s Detectives responded to an address on the 7900 block of Baymeadow Circle N for an Aggravated Assault/Aggravated Kidnapping. The female victim advised that she and the suspect got into an argument about his vehicle. The suspect then grabbed a hammer and began beating the victim’s hands and arms telling her she was not to leave. The victim was later able to crawl out of a window to escape to a nearby gas station where she flagged down Sheriff’s Deputies. As they responded to the home, the suspect barricaded himself inside the house with another female who later exited the home unharmed. Andrae Rivers, 35, was arrested and taken into custody by SWAT officers without incident. He was charged with Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault. The other female in the home, Logan Vandenbrook, 23, was charged with Obstructing and Hindering an Investigation. This investigation is ongoing.
