SDC 2300...... I like this detector very much and am actually very impressed after getting out today for about 3 hours with it at a hammered roadrunners claim at LSD. The detector runs very smooth and does not false even when bumped hard and hits on targets with an unmistakeable repeatable signal even when faint. There are virtually no hot rocks heard even at this claim which usually has many to plague the nugget hunter. First smallest nugget was also the deepest and at least 2.5 inches, the larger of the two was only about 1.5 inches deep and a boomer signal. I scraped the dirt so as to know approximate depth. My opinion after 3 hours? So far so good I would say and indeed will find very small gold, also found 5 bird shot, 2 bits of wire, couple iron bits, and a couple small bits of lead. Very excited to get some more time on the detector in some areas not quite so pounded..... More to come.
