SDM pays surprise visits to offices, seeks explanation from 9 absentees. Kathua, 28 August:- SDM Basholi, Gurumukh Singh paid a surprise visit to various offices and found some officials absent from their duty and have sought explanation from the absentees to explain their position within the period of three days. SDM payed the surprise visit to the offices of Rural Development Department, Irrigation department, Flood Control and Agriculture department and found Ashok Kumar Section officer, Sujata Kapoor of C.I.C., Mohd. Suleiman orderly of Flood Control department , Charan Dass, Oderly of Irrigation department, Ashok Kumar, Senior Assistant, Om Parkash, Gardner cum Operator, Preetam Singh Gardener operator, Amit Sharma, Food Assistnat, and Milkhi Ram, Peon of Agriculture department were absent from their duty. SDM took cognizance of the matter and sought explanation from the absentees and have directed them to explain their position within three days otherwise action under rules would be taken against them.
