SDPI distributes books for poor students in Addur(Mangalore) Mangalore: SDPI Addoor committee organized a free book distribution program in Addoor junction for 125 students of different classes from Addoor and its surrounding areas. Students who were given books are selected after a door to door survey done by SDPI cadres. Mohammad Arfaz, distinction holder in 10th standard, Sahara English Medium School (SEMS) Addoor has been honoured in the program. Also, the SDPI Addoor area adopted one female student for her graduation (B.A). The program was presided by U.Hameed, president of PFI Addoor unit. Welcome speech was done by Basheer Badakabail. Akbar Ali, District Council Member of SDPI delivered the event speech and the Chief guest speech was done by Riyaz K Thanthibailu, Secretary of SDPI Banwal Assembly constituency. Shihab Ali, secretary of PFI, Addoor Unit coordinated the program and delivered vote of thanks.( May 30th, 2013)
