SE OHIO FORECAST DISCUSSION: The pattern has shifted a little bit across the country, but it remains very active across much of the U.S. and the Ohio Valley in particular. The southerly flow of moisture out of the Gulf of Mexico, has been replaced with a more typical westerly flow. There will be a series of disturbances that will impact the region through Wednesday, before a cold front moves through on Wednesday night and early Thursday. This cold front will finally clear our skies of any rain by the end of the week and into the weekend. Heavy rain and thunderstorms will continue tonight, which will cause flooding. It will be muggy with some patchy fog possible. Lows will be in the upper 60s to around 70. We can expect mostly cloudy skies with some showers and maybe a storm during Tuesday morning. There should be a break around midday and the best chance for some sun will be around midday into mid afternoon. More showers and storms will develop later in the day. A couple of these storms could become severe, north of I-70, during the afternoon and evening. The main threat will be gusty winds. Highs will be in the mid 80s.
