SEASONS GREETINGS FROM DR. GABRIEL TIVLUMUN NYITSE-GTN TO THE PEOPLE OF BENUE STATE. Dear good people of Benue State, It is time once again for us to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, son of the Living God, who was born at this period, lived and died on the cross, that through Him our sins may be remitted unto salvation and eternal life. This is a period usually associated with much merry-making; from our villages to our towns and cities, the import of this season is captured more in the revelries of festivity. But I like to urge us to tamper our celebrations at this Yuletide with sober reflections on the realities of the economic, social and political changes in the global environment, which have placed serious challenges on our leadership institution. In this light, it has become necessary that the bond between the leadership and the people should be strengthened and made more responsive, to galvanise and channel their energies to the creation of better living conditions. It is against this backdrop that I call on you, good people of Benue State, to continue to keep faith with the Gov. Gabriel Suswam Administration, and to elect Rt. Hon. Terhemen Tarzoor, Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the 5th Executive Governor of our dear state, at the February 2015 General Election. I equally urge you, in the various senatorial districts, federal and state legislative constituencies in the state, to keep faith with the PDP at next years polls, including the presidential vote, considering the partys unparalleled record of having kept the democracy train going longer and better than ever in the history of our country.
