SEBI floats Discussion Paper to review disclosure regime, intends compliance by spirit SEBI floats Discussion Paper for reviewing Clause 36 and other related clauses of Equity Listing Agreement to ensure timely and adequate disclosure of relevant information to all class of investors. It aims to review continuous disclosure regime and provide appropriate regulatory framework to assist listed entities to comply with proposed regulations. It seeks to review the continuous disclosure regime for listed companies in India and provide appropriate regulatory framework to assist listed entities to understand and comply with their disclosure obligations under Equity Listing Agreement / Regulations (proposed). Considering the importance of Clause-36 for listed entities, sebi invites public comments on the discussion paper. Such comments can be emailed on or before September 12, 2014, to [email protected] or sent, by post, to SEBI, BKC office.
