SECOND CHANCE Theres a story in the eighth chapter of the book of Mark that is a perfect example of the reward of perseverance. It is about a blind man who needed a second touch in order to receive his healing. Sometimes it is that way with us. Some people brought a blind man to Jesus and begged Him to touch the man so that he would receive the miracle of sight. Jesus put His hands on the man and asked if he could now see. The man answered that he had sight but that it wasnt clear. It was obvious he needed a second touch. This time when Jesus laid His hands upon the mans eyes, his entire sight was restored and he saw everything clearly. It may be like that with you tonight. Maybe you have been touched in some areas by Jesus, but like the blind man, you experienced only partial results. Until now you may have thought that was all you could expect. I want to urge you to go all the way with God. If you need more, then ask! Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7, NIV). Dont let discouragement hinder your sleep. Like the blind man, go back to Jesus with your need. Let Him supply whatever you need through the manifested power of the Holy Spirit. Whenever you do, dont be satisfied to stop short of your miracle. Do it now before you go to sleep. God is just waiting for you to ask for your second touch.Our Evening Prayer - Lets Pray Together... God loves you and wants to answer your prayer. Say this prayer with me: Heavenly Father, forgive me for accepting less than You wanted to give me. Come to me now with Your second touch.
