SECOND UPDATE from Pembina AH Thanks to Wendy K. Schwartz - TopicsExpress

SECOND UPDATE from Pembina AH Thanks to Wendy K. Schwartz following up with Pembina, kitten will be ok. Here are some words from Wendy. Update...kitten has been health checked at Pembina and is quite healthy. He is NOT going to the Humane Society. Pembina will be adopting him out from the clinic if an owner doesnt come forward. I had a chance to see how this post unfolded much later last night. Lost and Found Cats in Winnipeg is set up to reduce drop off at vets and WHS unless medically necessary . Better to allow someone to hold onto in a spare room or bathroom, basement or in a large dog kennel or crate, even contained in a garage if in a kennel with our weather right now. A report is made with the WHS and finder can keep in touch. This allows more time to find the owner. After a 2 week period (or sooner if necessary) is up, kitty can be rehomed or kept. Kitty is most likely owned in the area where found. A few blocks or closer. Posting on the page is only HALF the battle. Getting the word out is the key. So Chantel St.Germaine, since you had made this plea last night for help, and people have stepped up and helped you then some, please get some people together in your neighbourhood, friends, co-workers, relatives and family to do what you can to find the owners. Good karma will come your way for doing a good day. That is what this page is about. I do not agree with your comment, This is not your issue anymore ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ATTENTION CENTRAL AREA* (Logan & Lulu St) There is a peachy looking cat sitting outside my door crying and scratching! I cannot let in due to the amount of animals I have of my own! If this is your cat plz IBM me or I will have no choice to call humane society! I feel so bad for him but cannot let him in so Im turning to this page and hoping someone comes through for him! Thank
