SECRETS IN RELATIONSHIPS Keeping secrets in a relationship indicates lack of trust of authenticity! Secrets corrode trust, it destroys relationships. You shouldnt for any reason keep any secret away from your partner because every secret you keep away from them, regardless how small it is,takes away from your relationship. Most people would be like Does it matter? Oh yeah! It does, because the devil who assures you that you will never be caught is the same devil who will blow the whistle on you. Dont be deceived! If you truly love him/her, i see no reason why you should keep hiding things from them, hence, there is no room for secrets in a relationship. If you are always trying to hide things from your partner, or lie by omission, or not telling him/her what you think he/she needs to know/hear, you arent just being dishonest with your partner but you are not being true to yourself either. If you are constantly hiding things & not being sincere to your partner, it stunts the relationship & inhibits trust! Nothing stays secret in a relationship. Be open to your need to know & not what they want to hear! Friends, relationship provide opportunities to heal, grow & transform ones life! Your partner shouldnt have to become a detective, an investigator, or a secret agent before he/she can know everything about you! Give him/her open access to your entire world and personalities; dont take their trust for granted. What is that secret you are hiding from your partner? Are you deceiving them? Are you cheating on them? For how long will you keep hiding it from them? This is time you need to open up to him/her! Dont let that little secret keep you from creating a healthy, successful & transforming relationship! Successful relationship is built on trust, it keeps no secret! Remember, it takes years to build trust, it takes a very single/little secret to destroy it. It takes sincere apologies & a whole lifetime to restore & repair it.
