SEEING GODS LOVE WILL HELP US RESPOND TO IT! A rapist has reached a stage where he does not SEE Gods love for him!A wife abuser has ceased to BEHOLD what manner of LOVE God has bestowed on him!A cheating wife has become IMPERVIOUS to the tender love of heaven!A robberer has refused to see God, loving him!A delinquent child not only does not SEE the love of her\his parents,but has shut the eyes so that they can not see Gods love.A prayerless Christian is as presumptious as the above fellows--SELF SUFFICIENCY---un outgrowth of pride and greed!.Question:Do we SEE GODS LOVE?Do we respond to it accordingly?Do we live out the RESPONSE?Here is the truth that will floor you today this Tuesday morning:When Adam and Eve were created,they occupied a position just a little lower than the angels.But Gods plan for restoration of human race includes an amazing experience for those who remain loyal to him.THOSE IN THE STRENGTH OF CHRIST OVERCOME THE GREAT ENEMY OF GOD AND MAN ,WILL OCCUPY A POSITION IN THE HEAVENLY COURTS ABOVE THE ANGELS WHO HAVE NEVER FALLEN(Ellen G.White,General Conference Bulletin,April,1899).The first time I came accross this,my eyes welled with tears of joy and a deep feeling of being precious in his eyes overcame me!!I was floored!iThis coupled with the following inspiration struck me:Lucipher,in a fit of jealousy plotted the destruction of human raceGCB of April , 1899.No wonder we in so much trouble!No wonder it hard brethren to cimb this mount Zion!Because the summit,if we reach it,has GREAT rewards!Not just eternal life,but exalted POSITIONS for ALL overcomers!0h!God is full of pleasant surprises for us!He is not done with his extravagant spoiling of the overcomers!Unbriddled urge to please us,WHA A GOD!Sinful humans restored to much higher state than the unfallen angels?No wonder Paul says:No eye has SEEN ,no ear has heard,no mind has conceived what God has PREPARED for those who love him ---yet God through his Spirit, gives us the strongest evidence that which awaits us after this tribulation! Can we doubt Gods love?Can we fail to trust him?In Zachariah 2:8(last part)he says:--For whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye---.REFLECTIVE QUESTIONS:What can I do to SEE his love for me?How can I stay close to him,ever being focused?What iam doing now which could prevent this?What is my hidden sin I still cherish,which I must repent of?Do I pray enough?Do I love enough?Iam I a witness for him through my lifestyle?How urgent is my quest to be changed by him?
