Exodus 36:6c-7, NIV There was an abundance of offering from the people that Moses had to command them to stop further giving. Today, many of our churches are in perpetual need. The work of God does not progress, as it should because many people in the church are reluctant givers, selfish or ignorant of the blessings that accrue from giving. There is nothing that we have which has not been given to us. Today, many Christians go to church empty-handed, they do not give anything, while some give far below their positions and possessions. The widow that fed Elijah never lacked until her death because she gave first all that she had. May the Lord grant us the grace to be faithful in giving so that there will be abundance in the house of the Lord. Are you willing to ignite the fire of change?
