SEEK DAILY (NBC) Saturday, November 2 Exodus 3:1-6 MOSES’ ENCOUNTER WITH GOD “And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.” Exodus 3:4, KJV A time came when Moses forgot his life’s purpose and he became a shepherd. However, at the right time in the plan of God, Moses encountered God, his Maker. God can reveal Himself to us whenever and wherever He chooses. All that is required is our living in obedience to His commands. Moses saw a burning but unconsumed bush. This meant that, though the Israelites were seriously suffering in Egypt, they would not be consumed by their oppressors. Beloved, your present affliction cannot consume you as long as you are in the will of God and can call on Him. A better covenant than the one that sustained the Israelites in Egypt is now available to sustain you. The covenant of the blood of Jesus is speaking better things for you and this is why no affliction can prevail over you. Remain focused on your divine assignment; nothing can hinder your success unless what you allow.
