SEEK DAILY (NBC) Tuesday, October 21 Psalm 86:1-10 YOU ALONE ARE GOD For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God. Psalm 86:10, NKJV Until people see God in action in our day-to-day life and activities, they would hardly believe and acknowledge that God is indeed great and that HE ALONE is GOD ALMIGHTY. Even as believers, our experiences during critical moments of life sometimes make us exercise doubt about the greatness and ability of God. An incident occurred in our church, when one of our youths and his neighbour ran away to Lagos without the consent of their parents. The case was reported to me and also to the Police. I told the distraught parents to focus on God and believe that the children would return before a particular time. I turned to God in earnest prayer and pleaded that God should honour His Word as I have declared it. To His glory, the children came home – after all efforts to reach them had failed. The people could not but exclaim that God is great and He alone is God! This strengthened my faith in God.
