SEEK DAILY (NBC) Wednesday, November 12 John 7:37-44 LET THE THIRSTY COME TO ME If anyone is thirty, let him come to me and drink, whoever believes in me…stream of living water will flow from within him. John 37b-38, NIV The drive for power, success and healing are serious forces that make a lot of Christians to run from one church to another today. They run from pillar to poles with the thought that solution lies in those places. Unfortunately, most times, their expectations are not always met. It is painful that Christians trust more in God’s instruments (ministers) than in Him, the true Source of power and success. Jesus, concerned over such tiring pursuits, gave a call to whoever is in dire need to come to Him, who is the source of satisfaction. Jesus has the solution to all our needs. He alone can satisfy the deepest need of humankind. He is the One standing today with an open invitation to you to come and drink from Him, the Source. Why run from place to place when He is standing right near you? The solution to the problems confronting you is not tied to a given place, but to a personal relationship with God. This will position you to draw directly from Him. His presence will continue to overflow in your life if you will let Him.
