SEEK DAILY Sunday, October 12 Job 19:1-7, 23-29 MY REDEEMER LIVES I myself will see him… How my heart yearns within me…. Job 19:27, NIV Job, in our passage for today, showed he was a man of great faith! Even in the midst of his ordeals and suffering, Job declared his total reliance, trust and hope in God. One may wonder the source of Job’s strength that enabled him to withstand the accusations of his friends. No doubt, Job’s strength came from within him; from his past devotion, dedication and commitment to God. The Bible records that, “…Job was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.” In all ramifications, Job was a righteous man. The key to being righteous is faith, for the Scripture says, “The righteous shall live by faith (Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11) and “Without faith, it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6). Faith looks at the unseen, beyond the present situations and circumstances into the glorious unimaginable future promised by our Lord. Faith does not compromise or allow anything to obstruct its continuous gaze and hope at what is ahead. Faith is the weapon with which believers overcome the world (1 John 5:4). Therefore, beloved, you need to study the Word of God regularly (Romans 10:17) so that you can build your faith. May God help you as you take the necessary steps today! • Birthday Blessing: “He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly…-” Psalm 107:38 Read Bible Through Passage: Jeremiah 4-5; 1 Thessalonians 1 Restoration is like a broken net that is mended and used again to catch multitude of fishes later. - Unknown
