SEEK DAILY, Wednesday, December 31 Psalm 103:1-13 BLESS GOD’S HOLY NAME Praise the Lord, I tell myself; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Psalm 103:1, NIV Beloved, today is the last day of the year; you need to bless the name of the Lord. He has done so much for you these 365 days. The psalmist, when he sat to consider the several benefits he enjoyed from the Lord, had nothing to say than to bless God’s holy name. Thus, he commanded his heart to sing this Psalm. He tuned his heart to praise God for His mercy, forgiveness, healing, and deliverance from death. Like the psalmist, you have also enjoyed forgiveness, healing, provision, deliverance, protection, and so on in the course of this year. You have seen His goodness, even when you did not deserve it. Why don’t you write out the benefits you have enjoyed in the course of the year? Then, you will know how to bless God’s name. It is a great sin to be an ingrate. Sing from your heart; sing aloud unto God. Bless Him for His goodness, favour and mercy towards you. • Birthday Blessing: “...Do not be afraid.
